IMPORTANT NOTICE
We
regret to inform you that due to new legislation we are unable to send Live Insects
to
Northern
Ireland. We have clarified this with DAERA (Department of Agriculture,
Environment
and
Rural Affairs in Northern Ireland) who have replied to us stating this below:
"Consignments
of live insects imported from Great Britain (GB) to Northern Ireland (NI) must
be
compliant
with commercial requirements which includes that the animals/invertebrates must
be
moved into the EU and Northern Ireland through an EU Border Control Post (BCP)
approved
to handle live animals, therefore live insects cannot be
imported by post."
This
has left us no choice, but to stop our supply of live insects into Northern
Ireland (NI) to
allow
time for our I.T Department to stop orders being processed through all our
outlets we can
only
send out orders through our website or through Amazon and Ebay until Wednesday
19th
March
2025. Orders placed over the phone will be dispatched until Wednesday 26th
March to
allow for delivery time.
