Locusts Large Size 4 22-30mm
Large locusts are a substantial feeder insect suited to medium and larger reptiles, birds, and other insectivorous animals. At 22–30 mm, these live locusts provide a reliable size option for animals that need more than juvenile feeders but are not yet ready for extra large prey. Their movement supports natural feeding behaviour and makes them an effective form of live food for reptiles.
Naturally high in protein and lower in fat than some alternative feeder insects, large locusts are suitable for regular feeding as part of a balanced diet. They can be offered alongside other live reptile food such as crickets, mealworms, and dubia roaches to add variety. Supplied live and carefully packed, these locusts travel well and are easy to maintain when kept warm with access to fresh greens.
